Dr Roelof van Wyk is a surgical ophthalmologist in private practice located in Potchefstroom in the North West Province. This means he is a doctor that specializes in procedures to treat the eye. He first obtained his F.C. Ophth. (SA) in 2009 and then M.Med Ophth. (UFS) cum laude.

The personnel at his practice are all qualified in their respective professions. At the practice you can expect a friendly welcome and supportive attitude from the time that you schedule your appointment to the settling of your account. Surgery and procedures are performed either at the Medicross day theatres or the Mooimed private hospital, both located in Potchefstroom.

Dr Van Wyk involves himself with the latest research and procedures for the treatment of eye disease and disorders through his international participation and membership in societies namely the European VitreoRetinal Society, and the European Society of Retina Specialists as well as local societies like the Ophthalmological Society of South Africa.
