Laser
1. YAG LASER
This laser is done in the rooms, most often months or even years after having cataract surgery and a lens replacement. Protein builds up in the synthetic lens over time and this causes the vision to lose detail or to become misty. The laser is completely painless.
The following video will explain what the laser entails and what to expect during and after the laser.

Definitions
Refractive error: Optical imperfections that prevent the eye from properly focusing light, causing blurred vision.
2. SLT LASER
This laser is done in the rooms, for glaucoma. The laser can cause a degree discomfort in the eye during the treatment. This laser can also cause your eyes to be sensitive to light for one week afterwards. In the case of slight discomfort, paracetamol can be taken which should resolve any pain within 30 minutes. You should continue with your current glaucoma treatment and not stop it after the laser.
The following video will explain what the laser entails and what to expect during and after the laser.
3. ARGON LASER
This laser is done for bleeding or for tears in the Retina. The laser can cause discomfort during the treatment. Afterwards you might see a pink hue for several minutes which will disappear after 15 minutes.
